Onward NRV participated in the 2026 AUVSI Xponential conference on uncrewed systems, held May 11–13 in Detroit, Michigan. Director of Marketing Rachel Johnson represented the organization at this premier industry event.
AUVSI, the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International, is recognized as the world’s largest nonprofit dedicated to advancing uncrewed systems and robotics. Its annual Xponential conference convenes thousands of global leaders and features more than 550 exhibitors presenting the latest innovations in autonomous technology.
Throughout the conference, Onward NRV collaborated with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and Montgomery County Economic Development to conduct outreach meetings with attending companies. These efforts focused on promoting Virginia and the New River Valley as strategic locations for business expansion and investment.
Participation in Xponential reflects Onward NRV’s ongoing commitment to supporting and strengthening the region’s uncrewed systems sector. Several New River Valley organizations, including Aeroprobe, the Virginia Tech Mid-Atlantic Aviation Partnership (MAAP), and Wing, were also in attendance, underscoring the region’s established presence in this growing industry.
