Onward NRV Showcases Sites to VEDP Real Estate Solutions Team

On November 6th and 7th, Onward NRV and local economic development partners had the privilege of hosting members of the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) Real Estate Solutions team for a two-day tour of Virginia’s New River Valley. The event highlighted the region’s prime real estate options available for businesses looking to grow and succeed.

On day one of the tour, guests were treated to a warm welcome at the award-winning Floyd Country Store, a cornerstone of Floyd County’s vibrant community. Afterwards, the group explored the county’s business real estate options that balance rural charm and economic opportunity.

Next, the tour headed to Pulaski County participants viewed various sites and buildings tailored for a variety of industries. The day concluded with a dinner at The River Company Restaurant and Brewery.

Day two of the tour kicked off in Montgomery County, highlighting Falling Branch Corporate Park as a hub for development and innovation. The tour then proceeded to the City of Radford where the tour group stopped by The HUB at Radford University and visited available sites and buildings before enjoying lunch at Sal’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria.

The tour’s final stop was in Giles County where they had the opportunity to explore Wheatland Eco Park, an eco-friendly industrial park combining sustainability with business growth.
