Onward NRV Presents 2024 Regional Impact Awards

Onward New River Valley recognized three companies with the 2024 Regional Impact Awards during the organization’s Annual Dinner on September 12, 2024. These awards, presented annually, honor businesses that have significantly impacted Virginia’s New River Valley by creating jobs and driving investment in the region.

The recipients were celebrated for their recent projects and expansions within the NRV over the past year, collectively bringing 95 new jobs and $4.8 million in capital investment to the area.

This year’s award winners are:

• Camrett Logistics: Expansion announced in October 2023, creating 58 new jobs and generating $2.15 million in capital investment in Pulaski County.

• ESS Technologies: Expansion announced in May 2024, adding 27 new jobs and $1.6 million in capital investment in Montgomery County.

• Great Wilderness Brewing Company: New project announced in December 2023, creating 10 new jobs and contributing $1 million in capital investment in Pulaski County.

Onward New River Valley congratulates the 2024 Regional Impact Award winners and applauds their dedication to enhancing the quality of life and business environment in Virginia’s New River Valley.
