Onward NRV Judges at Floyd C4 Small Business Program
Onward NRV’s Senior Director of Business Engagement Samantha Livesay recently represented the organization as a judge for the Floyd C4: Creators, Coaches, Curriculum, and Challenge Series. This program, which is celebrating its tenth year, provides an invaluable opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to dive deep into the essential components of starting and running a successful business. Samantha helped evaluate participants’ final pitches—each competing for a chance to win up to $5,000 to help fuel their business ambitions.
The Floyd C4 Series offers free weekly sessions to Floyd County businesses that explore topics like business idea generation, planning, marketing (including SEO and social media), financing, and business pitching. Local business owners also share their stories, providing participants with insights from real-life experiences. These hands-on, interactive sessions are designed to give participants practical tools and guidance as they build their entrepreneurial dreams.
At Onward NRV, we’re proud to support initiatives like Floyd C4 that strengthen the entrepreneurial community and drive economic growth across our region. Congratulations to all the participants who completed the series!
