Onward NRV Interviewed for Business Spotlight Radio Program
Onward NRV Talent Strategies Coordinator Max Davenport was recently interviewed for the Business Spotlight radio program that airs on WRAD Talk Radio. WRAD is simulcast on 101.7 FM, 103.5 FM, and 1460 AM. Host Paul Johnson, Vice President, and General Manager of New River Radio Group, spoke to Max about Onward NRV and their goals.
During the interview, Max had the opportunity to speak about Onward NRV’s 5-year strategic plan to attract talent and business to the region and emphasized Onward NRV’s four targeted industries: Advanced Manufacturing, It/Technology, Uncrewed Systems, and Food Processing & Agribusiness. In the interview, he addressed the challenges currently facing Onward NRV.
Max also talked about his role in the organization by highlighting Onward NRV’s talent retention program, the NRV Experience, and the new regional talent summit initiative. Max spoke about how Onward NRV takes a holistic approach to attracting people and businesses to the NRV. He believes that one of the best assets that the New River Valley has is its people.
