Onward NRV’s Director of Marketing, Rachel Johnson, recently joined a panel of judges for this year’s Floyd C4: Creators, Coaches, Curriculum, and Challenge Series. The program gives emerging entrepreneurs a chance to build their business knowledge and prepare for real-world success. Participants competed for up to $5,000 to advance their business ideas, with awards going to Thrive Hive Smoothie & Juice Café (first place), WINCare Health (second place), and a tie for third between R&D Floral and Kismet Cleaning.
The Floyd C4 Series offers free weekly workshops for Floyd County business owners and aspiring founders. Sessions cover everything from shaping a business idea and developing a plan to marketing, financing, and perfecting a business pitch. Participants also hear directly from local entrepreneurs who share lessons learned and practical advice. Together, these sessions provide hands-on guidance to help people grow their ventures with confidence.
Onward NRV is proud to continue being part of the Floyd C4 program and supporting initiatives that foster innovation and strengthen the region’s entrepreneurial community. Congratulations to everyone who completed this year’s program!
