Onward NRV Presents 2020 Regional Impact Awards

Onward New River Valley presented the 2020 Regional Impact Awards at the organization’s Fall 2020 Quarterly Investor Live Stream Event. The Regional Impact Awards recognize and celebrate companies that are investing and creating jobs in Virginia’s New River Valley.

Four companies received a 2020 Regional Impact Award from Onward NRV. Over the past year, these award winners have announced 418 new jobs and $22.1 million in capital investment in the region. These jobs are estimated to have an annual payroll of over $38 MM which is projected to increase local consumer spending by $18 M.

The winners of the 2020 Regional Impact Awards are:

TORC Robotics: 350 new jobs and $8.5 MM investment in Montgomery County

Patton Logistics Group: 33 new jobs and $12 MM investment in Pulaski County

Bimmerworld: 15 new jobs and $1.5 MM investment in Pulaski County

Modea: 20 new jobs and $100K investment in Montgomery County
