Onward NRV Welcomes New Board of Directors Members for FY 2024-25

Onward New River Valley is proud to announce its newly elected Board of Directors members for FY 2024-25.  The Board of Directors is made up of thought leaders and community stakeholders that are passionate about Virginia’s New River Valley and the mission of Onward NRV.

This year, fourteen seats on the Board of Directors had expiring terms.  Candidates were nominated via an open solicitations process.  On May 1st, the Governance & Nominations Committee met to formalize its slate of nominees to present to the Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors officially elected the candidates at the May 15th Board meeting to serve two-year terms beginning on July 1, 2024 and ending on June 30, 2026.

In addition to the yearly scheduled elections in May, special elections were held at the February 21st board meeting to fill several vacant seats on the board.

Onward NRV is proud to have four new representatives serving on the Board of Directors as well as 13 returning board members. They include:
