Katie Boswell, Executive Director of Onward NRV, recently participated in ECONOMIX, a premier event for economic developers to connect with site consultants, as part of the Virginia’s I-81 Corridor marketing group.
During the event, she was able to join forces with representatives from the Roanoke Regional Partnership, the Shenandoah Valley Partnership, and the Economic Coalition of the Northern Shenandoah Valley to co-sponsor the event’s Welcome Mixer. Through this collaboration, these economic development organizations are highlighting the shared advantages of locating a business along the I-81 Corridor.
ECONOMIX offers a unique format that includes content-rich learning sessions, professional development experiences, and one-on-one sessions with site consultants. The conference is designed for economic developers by economic developers and features opportunities to learn from site consultants about current trends and needs in economic development.
