Katie Boswell, Onward NRV Executive Director, has named Mary Denson the organization’s Investor Relations & Development Coordinator effective August 25, 2025. In this position, Mary will facilitate Onward NRV’s investor relations program, coordinate quarterly investor events, and support the organization’s talent and business strategies.

Mary joins Onward NRV from Virginia Tech, where she earned a B.S. in Agribusiness Management in May 2025. During her time as a Hokie, she built a strong background in agribusiness, philanthropy, event management, and client relations, while also serving as a Student Ambassador for the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics. Her experiences gave her the opportunity to connect with people, foster relationships, and support organizations in meaningful ways.
Originally from Lexington, Virginia, Mary has always had a deep love for community and the ways people can come together to support one another. She brings skills in project management, event planning, and donor engagement, along with a genuine enthusiasm for building relationships and strengthening connections across the region.
