Onward NRV Attends Radford University Spring 2022 Career Fair

Onward New River Valley recently attended the Spring 2022 Career Fair at Radford University. The Onward team was on site representing the NRV and the multitude of professional opportunities available to new graduates. The event was well attended, and gave Onward the opportunity to promote regional employers and current job openings through the Virginia’s New River Valley Job Board.

Career fair attendees were able to chat with the Onward team regarding their future aspirations, and many expressed a strong desire to remain in the region after graduation. In addition to enlightening prospective graduates about the benefits of living and working in the New River Valley, Samantha Livesay, Director of Business Engagement and Ian Littlejohn, Marketing Manager, were able to lend an ear to some of the perceived challenges related to searching for a career path as a new graduate.

Onward NRV regularly attends career fairs at New River Community College,  Virginia Tech, and Radford University, and is committed to helping attract and retain talent across our four targeted industries.
