Onward NRV Attends 2023 AVUSI Xponential

Onward NRV attended the AUVSI Xponential Symposium on Uncrewed Systems on May 8th-11th in Denver, Colorado. Onward NRV Director of Business Engagement Samantha Livesay attended on behalf of Onward NRV.

AUVSI stands for the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International and is “the world’s largest nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of uncrewed systems and robotics”.

Onward co-sponsored the Virginia booth with the Virginia Unmanned Systems Center at VIPC and other Virginia-based economic developers. Samantha also conducted outreach meetings with staff from the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) and Montgomery County Economic Development to recruit attending companies to locate in Virginia and the New River Valley.

Attending Xponential is one of the ways that Onward NRV supports the existing uncrewed systems industry in the region. NRV companies Aeroprobe, Moog, The Virginia Tech Mid-Atlantic Aviation Partnership (MAAP) and Wing were also in attendance.
