Onward NRV Attends 2024 Business Horizons Career Fair
Onward NRV’s Senior Director of Engagement Samantha Livesay and Talent Strategies Coordinator Max Davenport recently represented Virginia’s New River Valley at the Virginia Tech Business Horizons Career Fair.
During the career fair, Samantha and Max were able to speak to students about the great job options that can be found in the NRV. They shared information about Virginia’s New River Valley job board and highlighted key job opportunities in Onward’s targeted industries of Advanced Manufacturing and Information Technology.
Samatha and Max were able to engage with the students and encourage them to make the NRV home after graduation. They connected with students who were interested in learning more about jobs available in the region and will follow up with the students who handed them resumes.
Onward NRV regularly attends career fairs at New River Community College , Radford University and Virginia Tech as part of their strategic plan to attract and retain talent to support regional growth.
