Onward New River Valley proudly presented the 2026 Regional Impact Awards to Interstate Group and Aclara Resources at its Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony on September 10, 2026.
The Regional Impact Awards are given each year to recognize companies that make a significant contribution to Virginia’s New River Valley by creating new jobs and driving investment in the region’s economy.
This year’s recipients were honored for their recent expansions, which together will bring 61 new jobs and $18.9 million in capital investment to the New River Valley.
The 2026 award winners are:
- Interstate Group – Announced in March 2026, the company’s expansion will create 46 new jobs and generate $8.9 million in capital investment in Giles County.
- Aclara Resources – Announced in September 2025, the company investment will add 15 new jobs and bring $10 million in capital investment to Montgomery County.
