During the month of October, Onward ran their annual digital marketing campaign focused on Virginia’s New River Valley’s advanced manufacturing sector. The digital campaign aimed to raise awareness about the innovative and high-tech job opportunities available in the NRV’s advanced manufacturing industry to potential employees. The campaign also targeted individuals within a 3–5-hour radius as well as legacy manufacturing hubs like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Detroit.
The campaign included paid advertising on Facebook and YouTube that used “MFG Jobs in the NRV: Find Your Career,” “MFG Jobs in the NRV: Making Ideas Reality,” and the MFG Industry Highlight video. The ads directed viewers to TheNRV.org/MFG, highlighting the advanced manufacturing industry in Virginia’s New River Valley.
The campaign generated the following results:
