Onward NRV Promotes Region at 2022 Winter Fancy Food Show

In February, Onward New River Valley Executive Director Katie Boswell attended the 2022 Winter Fancy Food Show in Las Vegas. Onward NRV in conjunction with representatives from the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) and the Roanoke Regional Partnership who marketed Virginia as a great place to do business.

During the show, Boswell was able meet with growing companies in the Food Processing & Agribusiness industry and promote the business advantages of Virginia’s New River Valley, such as:

• The New River as a reliable and clean water source
• Virginia Tech’s highly ranked Food Science & Technology program
• The NRV’s Mid-Atlantic location and easy access to East Coast markets
