Onward NRV Livability Campaign Reaches 400,000+ People

Onward NRV conducted a month-long digital marketing campaign in July 2021 that advertised Virginia’s New River Valley to remote workers. The purpose of this campaign was to promote the region as an ideal place to live for remote workers and to raise awareness about the region’s abundant outdoor amenities. People living in major metros east of the Mississippi River which have a high concentration of remote workers were the audience for this campaign.

The digital marketing campaign featured Onward NRV’s “NRV Outdoors: Find Your Escape” video, which highlights the region’s many outdoor amenities in a fast-paced, high-energy format.

Here are the results of the month-long digital marketing campaign:

• The campaign reached 407,658 people with a total of 564,300 impressions
• 127,477 people viewed a video from a campaign post
• 31,940 people engaged with a post, with 31,940 clicking on a post and 251 liking, sharing, or commenting on a post
• 1,385 people visited TheNRV.org/live-here to learn more about living in the region
