Onward NRV Promotes 1,000+ New Tech Jobs in NRV

Onward New River Valley promoted the 1,000+ new tech jobs announced over the past two years in Virginia’s New River Valley during a six-week digital marketing campaign. The organization marketed specifically to individuals living in major cities within a six-hour drive of the NRV. The “Tech Jobs in the NRV: Find Your Career” campaign ran concurrently with the “NRV Outdoors: Find Your Escape” digital marketing campaign.

Onward NRV’s goals for the campaign were to raise awareness about the expanding information technology industry in the NRV, to promote new tech jobs being created in the region, and to attract talent to the area by highlighting lifestyle amenities, such as the outdoors, that are available in the New River Valley.

Over the course of the six-week campaign, the “Tech Jobs in the NRV: Find Your Career” video:

• Reached 47,902 people
• Was viewed by 17,377 people
• Had 783 people like, share, or click on it

In addition, 311 people visited TheNRV.org/TechJobs website to learn more about the information technology industry in Virginia’s New River Valley, including available job openings through local tech companies.
